Hi guys,

Managed to get hold of a pair of Brembo callipers from a seat leon cupra, does any one know if brackets are available to convert these to the standard 325i leg or if i'll have to get these made to order?

cheers

As Agreen says
Fab the braket from mdf but you will need to have the discs 1st so you can make the template for the bracket

Std brake lines work with my brembo's (7/8 series ones which are larger than the seat ones) and 302mmx28mm disks

CHEERS GUYS, DIDNT THINK I WOULD BE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET THEM OFF THE SHELF, I'LL GO WITH YOUR ADVICE. GOT GOODRIDGE BRAKE LINES AT THE MIN WHICH FIT THE ORIGINAL GIRLINGS IM HOPING THEY FIT THE BREMBOS TOO. JUST GOT STANDARD SIZE REPLACEMENT ZIMMERMAN DISCS. GOT THE BREMBOS AT A SNIP AND HAVE REFURBED THEM MYSELF SO IF IT TURNS OUT TO BE TOO MUCH HASSEL I'LL SELL THEM ON.

If you can let me know the exact yr of Set leon, i can check my brake pad fitment guides and see if they'll work with standard diameter disks for you

If it's the pad i'm thinking on,it has 50mm depth of friction material and the std E30 pad has 46-47mm deep frictiom material

Based on that figures you'd have 3-4mm of pad overhang with a std 260mm disk

Std size disk for the Leon with Brembo calipers seems to be 315mm
You'd probably get away with using a 280-290mm disk with thos calipers(providing you can get them to fit)

I've got a set for sale at the moment

Brembo 4 pots/disks/caliper brackets and some 1/2 worn pads which should last about 15K of abuse

Just need to remove them from the car
