Does anyone know of any UK dealers who have stock of M20 schrick cams, other than the Zone shop and XL? By stock i mean actually on the shelf, not on the end of a phone.

XL seem to be coming though OK on this, so not so much an issue now. Still interested though.

Spoke too soon. Still no cam from XL. Getting perilously close to losing a few hundred pounds worth of track day fees and hotel bookings.

I agree, Schrick make cams under licence from Cat. Not necessarily the M20 cam but it does show what you're buying. The Cat Cam is cheaper too.ed325i wrote:Why not go for a cat cam ?
P.S. I have a Cat Cam and I'm very pleased with it!
'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
'89 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 - track, hillclimb & sprint car (yeeha!)
'08 Buell XB12Ss - American engineering at it's 'best'... good fun though

They'll not do that 'cause it depends on too many other factors; what other mods, how well it's setup, how well serviced has the engine been, etc.agreen wrote:i would liekt o see some figures for these cams aloong with prices

Whatever modification you do, you'll rarely realise the whole power gain that you get in the sales patter anyhow!
