My set up is, funnels in the valance, flex hose, and custom made bracket connected using the threaded holes in the struts that used to hold the backing plates in place
Mosely sell some e30 items but think they are M3 only, if not DT/RD do various generic ones you could hose in the fogs
or alternatively use the standard BMW ones?

I still have my originals somehow, I thought they were prone to dropping out, might consider dropping the fogs and adding extra, but I rarely do more than two laps B2B on the ring so fades never really an issue

I removed the standard ones with the help of a cone on a track day..Also took the fog lights out and just fitted some mesh - I think I need to make one funnel on each side with pipes to the brakes with the aid of some bracketing.. See pic below of current arrangement..

Also nearside main beam headlight is going to get some tubing directly to the air intake..See how that goes

I have one of these on order for my cold air feed. My friend had one the other day and we dummy fitted it to my car. It looked car and should be functional so the credit card took another hammering.

I'm thinking of getting some of these for my next track day, only snag is they are from the US which might be a problem if you're in a rush ?
I think there's plenty enough air comming from the stock ducts if it's directed to where it's needed most ?
I might remove my fogs and get the blanking covers, mind it won't save much weight.

Justa note for those of us on the mainland. Missing the left main beam light is an MOT failure, as i found out this week. Probably best not make any mods permanent on the air intake.Lloydie38 wrote:Also nearside main beam headlight is going to get some tubing directly to the air intake..See how that goes

In Jersey it is even better! You do not have MOT at all. Only Police can angle your car to pass DVS test (local MOT) and the car needs to be in really bad condition.Lloydie38 wrote:Keep this a secret but, here on the good old Isle of Man you pass your MOT once and erm...that's it
