has anyone tried knocking these up? i'm sick and tired of replacing the front ARB droplinks as the rubbers tear in a few months and i can get basic rod end bearings (rose joints) for about £4 each
worth a go?

Definitely! I don't know what BMW were thinking when they designed those bloody things - they're crap!
They last a lot longer if properly aligned when fitted, but I still have to do mine every MoT.

Tell me abuot it! My eibach bars mince through them. It was ed325i who made some; the links themselves can be bought of ebay but i don't have any tools to make them myself. Like shuey says if someone made them i would be interested also!

I have a load of rod ends for this exact purpose, just haven't got around to knocking them up as there are more pressing things to be done. Perhaps I will have a go at the weekend at these, it's definately easy enough.
