Heated windscreen

Considering doing away with the whole heating system and replacing it with a heated windscreen.

I have seen them for sale at XL race parts, anyone else do them and if so where?

Also comments required from people who have gone this route please.

for track cars really...but do work...quite a few people do them...prices are around £200

I think it's a bit of a necessity as my cage bar that goes across the inside of the dash will probably restrict air flow to the screen anyway.
