So my new E30 325i (picked up last night) seems to go well...so now it's new tyres.

It has the standard 14" wheels, and also some OZ Racing 15" alloys...the tyres on them are 195/50/15 - I thought the standard fitment was a 205?

Can anyone shed any light on what I can and can't put on there??

can and can't?

BMW fitted 205/55/15 or 195/65/14 or 205/50/16 to keep the rolling diameter 'correct'.

What width are your 15" alloys? - sounds like a VW diameter on the tyres at the moment.

on a 6/6.5" rim i'd go for the 195 and on a 7" rim i'd go for the 205

We run a 15"x7" ET25 wheel in our series, on a 205/50 R15 Yokohama AO48 semi-slick. Factory was 205/55 R15, so not much difference.
