Doing my first track day in the Tourer in a couple of weeks - anyone got any recommendations on what tyre pressures to start out with? Also I have H+R ARBs fitted, should I put them upto the hardest setting?

Thanks in advance,
James

ARB settings depend mostly on the shocks, springs and levels of grip from tyres and track temps etc, i'd personally put them on soft all round, alot of racers don't even use them or disconnect the rear. Only way to tell is to get out there and see what the car is doing.

Tyre pressures also change depending on track temp and air temp and the track layout but as a guide you'll need to drop them down for the track. Track tyres normally operate best around 31psi when hot so cold starting could be anywhere from 20-28, lower for hotter day and increase if it's cold or wet but you must check the pressures immediately after a session and if it's too high drop them down to 31 and if it's too cold increase them so they're at 31. When they then cool down, that is your cold starting pressure
