In the middle of swapping the engine in my e30 and i'm looking to uprate the subframe at the same time, the cars will be a daily but i still want to hammer the back roads. I'm looking to keep a 4 stud pattern but upgrade my subframe and brakes, basically.
Has anyone went this route before?
What setups did you run?

I think people tend to say the Bilstein/Eibach B12 setup is the best all-rounder. I had it on mine but replaced it with the Koni adjustable setup when the time came. Both are good and swings and roundabouts between them. I have the Bilsteins going back on because I feel like a change and they are more original.
Depending on how much you want to spend KW do a good coilover kit which has good feedback. I like KW and it will be going on my other one.

my set up is.
koni yellow shocks F/R.
custom springs based on the e46 m3 (can't remember the weights).
eibach adjustable ARB's.
eibach/spc adjustable front top mounts.
mk3 mondeo rose jointed drop links.
m3 adjustable/reinforced rear beam.
-3dg camber all round.
it can get a bit twitchy a speed in a straight line but handles the twisties perfectly (for me anyway).
