Has any one weighed a standard fuel tank with pump assy, pipes etc?

ETK lists a '91 325i tank as 11.6kg. A quick round up of the listed weights for the pump, senders and filler neck and I guess you could add another 2.5kg-3kg as a rough estimate.

I've never been too sure how accurate the weights are on there. I will be pulling mine out soonish so I guess I can compare then. Cheers

No, but I weighed the left half of it with breather pipes that run on top of the tank. 4,258 kg. I only have the passenger side of the tank in the car, to improve weight distribution and lightnessrix313 wrote:Has any one weighed a standard fuel tank with pump assy, pipes etc?
