Interior Cooling

My car has had it's heater / fan removed (previous owner), it's also fitted with perspex windows and has no carpet.

In short it gets bloody hot inside and was wondering what I can do to reduce the temperatures whilst driving.

I've looked into ducting from the rear windows but not sure how effective it will be, however would prefer not to have to put the original heater matrix back in.

Roof scoop? Slightly chav day to day but not if it actually serves the purpose it was built for!

don't laugh, but back when i had a stripped out mk2 escort i had a little plug in fan (looked like a mini desk fan) that despite its size worked pretty well.

like i said don't laugh.

I'd rather not go drilling holes in my car - I'll probably have to refit the original fan / heater.

I'd have said that just fitting the fan unit back in won't achieve much as the cabin will just get stuffy as there will be no airflow.
