Does anyone know if the compact callipers can be fitted to e30 arms. The pads I want to use are only listed for compacts and not e30.
I would assume they are the same but can't find any information on it

They can't be fitted tried a while back, but I cant remember why, disc offset? I'll check for you tomorrow, I have both knocking around.
However I reckon the pads will be very similar, so fitting the ones listed for compact may do the e30.

I think you are right, from what iv seen the compact arms give a wider track than an e30. I'll
Have to compare the pads or buy something different for the e30 callipers
Thanks

Discs are larger as well so you would have to use a e30 bracket.
If you have a saloon you can use touring calipers for 34mm pistons
the z3 piston side might fit with e30 bracket, when i had them side by side they were very similar. Z3 piston is 36mm.
