May be a repost, but this little gem came up on my YouTube news feed and I thought it would be rude not to share.

Watched a bit of this from the roof of our truck. Great to see cars from that era racing.

The guy in the camera E30 gave a really good account of himself I thought. Obviously driving standards vary, but keeping up with late model Super Tourers right to the very end is impressive- they have ALOT more aero than him for one thing!

As a man who is touring cars through and through, I loved the idea of getting all these old cars together- it harks back to a better era of motorsport in my view. However I thought the cars would be driven sympathetically or more as a display race. How wrong I was! I think thats genuinely one of the best touring car races I have ever watched. Funny how they can put pretty much every BTC and WTCC driver to shame by overtaking without contact too....

That was brilliant. Thanks for sharing!

The camera car could do with about another 40-50bhp. It would hen be able to fend off the turbo nutter cosworths.
Excellent standard of driving. Shame about the collision, he was a bit frustrated with that. He had enough of his car down the inside, I think the red cossie just got caught out by the speed differential through the corners.
