Over the next few weeks I will be plumbing in my pedal box and brake hardlines. I've already done the short lines on the rear trailing arms and plan to run the front-rear line through the inside of the car, along the transmission tunnel and out one of the rear seatbelt holes. For the fronts, to ensure the left and right lines are the same length, I'd run a single hard line from the pedal box through the bulkhead and over the heater matrix (original route to m/s). I'd split it there with a t-piece and run a line to each front wheel, again keeping to the stock routing as far as possible.
1) Does this sound reasonable/best idea?
2) I bought a new brake light switch but can't see any way this can easily be made to fit my floor-mounted pedal box. Where would be the best place to fit a pressure switch instead?
3) Do you have pictures of your current setups?

My rear brake line runs inside the car, but exits through one of the handbrake cable tubes (I don't have a handbrake). Unless you run your brake line through some kind of ducting, I wouldn't pass it over the rear seat pan - something will eventually get dropped on it. Most internal routing I've seen exits at the nearside front of the seat pan, near to where the OE routing passes.
Why do you want the front brake lines the same length? It's a hydraulic system; the pressure will be the same throughout. OE front lines differ massively.

Just in case it helps, i think that you get some pretty nice fixtures which allow pipes to run through the bulkhead or other areas of the car. It will allow you to disconnect the pipes from either side of the bulkhead. Looks neat to!

Handpaper - that makes sense to me, I'd just read it was a good idea to keep them he same length. I guess it makes a difference if using all flexi lines, but that's a bad idea anyway. Will make things much simpler if they can be different lengths!

I used a bulkhead fitting going to the stock t-piece at the back for the two rear lines.

So this is the plan: rear will go along the transmission tunnel then into the rear nearside footwall and into a bulkhead fitting. On the other side, a short line to the stock t-piece (which I have already rigged up with new lines to the rear calipers). Like so:

I just need to replace the line I threaded through the seatbelt mount with one going to the new bulkhead fitting.
For the front:

The yellow hole was the clutch m/s aperture. This will be blanked with 1mm ally plate. I will make a blanking plate for the hole in red and fit bulkhead fittings to this plate (also 1mm ally) for the front brakes and for the clutch. I'll pass the throttle cable through a grommet in this plate also. Then will rivet plate into place with suitable gasket/seal. Brake line will then go to a t-piece under the battery tray and the left/right lines will go from here.
Does anyone know what the blue hole was for? I can't remember! Where would be the best place to fit the remote reservoirs and pass the braided lines to the master cylinders? If I fit a brake pressure switch (for brake lights) in to the hardline running from the pedal box to the bulkhead on the inside of the car, would that be a problem?

Blue hole is for the ecu wires.
Seen a few e30's with the reservoirs supported by a bracket in the battery tray area.

The blue hole is for the ECU loom.
I have ran a braided line from the MC at the front, past a bias valve and through the rear bulkhead to the t-piece. Solid line is obviously better for feedback.

Flaring wise - I've used DIN male flares (bubble flares) as per stock E30 lines for the rears. Was going to go metric throughout, as per stock again. So the bulkhead fittings are male-male M10x1?

Also, what kind of flare will I need for the output of the Wilwood master cylinders?

Checked out my Wilwood master cylinders. They came with the 3/8-24 IF to 3/8-24 - M/C Fitting shown on this page:

So I gather to connect to this, I need a male UNF fitting with a double flare, as shown on the left here? As the male side of the fitting where it goes into the m/s is a tube fitting, will I need a copper crush washer too?

Then all of the rest will be metric and I'll be rolling right?
Oh, one more quick question - is it still advised to bench bleed master cylinders before fitting?
