I'm wanting to fit an anderson connector to my car to give the battery a bit of a boost if required.

Would a 60amp one suffice or am I better off going for the larger 175amp job? I've just fitted an Oddessy 25 battery and extra battery would only be needed to help turn it over incase it's a bit low after storage etc.

They come in three sizes IIRc, the small one is not suitable, middle one is fine though, cant remember the amp but I used to use them to boost start trucks, sure ive still got a few packs in my shed :)

60 are the real small ones, 175 are the next up then jumps to 350.

A 175 'kit' (both halves, terminals, handle etc) is about £18 in fleabay.
