Hi,
I've seen a few people with a stud conversion.
How have they done this?
I'm always changing my wheels for trackdays and it's such a ball ache with bolts and trying to juggle the thin spacers.
What's the secret??

Depending on the type you are looking for, they normally screw in from the front and you would lock tight them in.

Most of the time the studs have a thicker part so you can screw them in until it won't go in in any further. Put a little bit of locktite on the part that goes in the hub and screw them in. I used two wheelnuts to fit them tight.

We use the lower ones.

We use the lower ones.

It'd be difficult to get the threads in the hubs clean enough for loctite to grip on unless they were new. Perhaps a toothbrush and degreaser spray may get there.DanThe wrote:I fitted mine with locktite blue but they still came loose, they will be getting some mig action soon
Being next to the discs it's also likely that the loctite is also released by the heat, there are so many varieties I'm sure something suitable is available.

tap the holes, brake cleaner and compressed air.
Used Loctite on mine and never had one coming loose.
