Evening, I bought the below:

plus some pull handles and cabling. There's some good advice on the wiring and plubming of fire ex here, but I'm looking for advice on placing these switches on the dash solidly, has anyone got any experience?

I wonder if there's some decent blanking plates you can get to bolt these switches on to make life easier, the switch panel just fits height wise in the radio bay.

What's everyone else done? Pictures would be really appreciated thanks. It's a 320 coupe that used to have OBC.

Cheers RIch that does make sense, just wondering how to fix these as the dash is pretty thin, I think I need some extra plates. I like your solution!

There is a small lip on all of the apatures, I ran a thin line of black sealer around the lip and glued in a metal panel. The switches here aren't under any stress so IMO this is fine however the extinguisher pull cable would require something more solid.

The radio slot is a normal place as mentioned, even with a pull cable you arnt going to put it ander any real stress. Normally we fill them with a piece of black 5mm plastic, then if you use sikaflex/tigerseal something like that it wont be going anywhere fast.
