true coilover preperation question

If I’m converting my rear suspension into a true coilover setup, other than strengthening the tower mounts, is there any other fabrication work that needs to be done to the frame/shell/subframe?


There will be a weld-in rollcage installed from custom cages UK. I’m not an expert in this field and this is my first track car build.

RPM sell offset top mounts so the coilover clears the inner wing/fuel tank breather

Also on rally cars they tens to reinfiorce the trailing arm coilver mount with a gusset.

Thanks Jason I will most probably get the trailing arm reinforced with a gusset.

For the offset RPM mounts can you kindly point them out on the RPM website because I can’t seem to find them unless they are the only ones that they currently have up for sale? Another question related to this offset thing, is that also required on a E30 M3 or is it non-M specific?
