Morning folks
Due to work commitments and moving house to a place without a garage, I'm having to seriously consider my options with regards to my track car build.
1. Sell as a project.
2. Put it in storage for an undefined period of time.
I don't really want to do either so I guess I need to gauge if there is any interest in it on here for a start.
Effectively it's a fully rebuilt 2 door facelift shell 1990 with a full cage, sitting in primer. There are loads of parts including e36 evo front end, left and right hand steering racks, rear end with welded on adjustment tabs, loads of stuff.
I have hundreds of pictures of the build so far, it's had all genuine panels, inner and outer rear arches, both rear quarters new, boot panel, sills, new front panel built to be removable for flexibility in engine changes.
It was taken to a professional cage builder who hand built the cage to pick up front and rear suspension turrets and brace the diff mount and it's a work of art, amazing tig welds.
So there it is, car is sorn, if it's going to go it would be best if someone just took the lot, if there's no interest I will just store it until I have time to get back to it.
If you want to know more then give me a shout.
Cheers

Get the photos on there and show everyone what you have done.
All - Have to say I have been lucky enough to see what he has had done and it is simply awe inspiring.
Mat - Still think you should keep it and use it!

Alright chaps
Couple of pics below, there are a few hundred photographs as a huge amount has been done to the shell.
agent006, shared storage could be an option, I know Hunty is local too and could use some space.
Anyway, a couple of shots..
seam welded front end.

front scuttle replaced

At the cage builders

If anyone is interested then we can talk, I don't want to count up what it's cost me so far but not expecting to recoup the cost, a fair offer will take it plus a huge amount of parts including a complete tech 2 body kit etc.etc.
Cheers

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Morning agent006
I have tried to talk unclemat into this also - mainly so I can use his skill and knowledge as I attempt to work on mine!
Key issue with a lock-up is security. Location would be very important. Would be good to have somewhere to work and store kit though - my shed is currently full with interior spares from mine and unclemat's motor. Must make more room and skip the lawn mower...

Mat, no issues with discussing the future of your project here but if you decide to sell it'd be best to whack an ad up in the classifieds with a load of pics (because what you've put up so far looks very impressive) and a price you'd be happy with.

No worries at all mate, it's currently a "what the hell am I doing, tell me I should keep it" thread that really is intended as a discussion. As soon as I think that I've really got to get rid of it then it will go in the for sale section and I'll name a price. Does that sound ok to you?
Cheers

Sounds perfect, mate. I know that you're only discussing the pros and cons about keeping/selling at the moment so go for it. Get as much input as you can.

That looks very tidy... if only I need a shell, but the wife would kill me if I got to car number 5 again
Out of curiosity where did you plan to wrap the harnesses ? It looks like there are some bars missing for those, not a big thing to retro fit but something you would want to do.
