Looking to spend around £400 max on a set of springs and dampers for a dedicated track day car. I had been looking at the Spax PSX kit as I'm far more concerned with damper adjustment than height adjustment but I've seen some pretty bad feedback for the kit on here. Is there a good alternative?
I'm not looking to spend £800+ on Gaz coilovers and though I looked at the classic Eibach and Bilstein combo I'm guessing they're too soft for track use?
For those that have had it, how does the PSX kit perform on track? I know some people aren't fans of Spax but then I ran KW coilovers on another car which everybody seems to love and they are absolutely shit, (2 sets of leaking dampers and no replacements sent until they have been 'assessed' after 3 weeks in Germany!) so I know experiences of a certain manufacturer can vary massively!

Hi Jack - me again! Whatever kit you end up with, make sure its mated to a good set of anti roll bars - the eibach adjustable anti roll bar kit is excellent in my experience and have heard good things about White line gear as well.
A good Koni / Eibach / Spax suspension kit should do you proud with Eibach anti roll bars and also poly bushes everywhere!
Good luck!
Cheers,
Mike

I'm using Faulkner springs and AVO adjustable dampers...whole lot was under your target price, but I also replaced all the rubber bushes with poly ones which took it over...
I'm using standard AR bars (all on my M3) and I find the setup a bit soft (spring wise) for the track and a bit harsh on anything but the smoothest roads...
If your car is a dedicated track one, then look for some springs around 650lb at the front and 300lb at the rear...
Once you have those with suitable dampers it would be worth uprating the AR bars...I wouldn't bother, though, if your car runs softer springs than that as a stiffer AR bar (especially at the rear) will just loose you traction as it picks up the inner wheel...

I really like KW and would buy them again in a flash.
The sway bar kit is great to help balance the car, particularly if the car will become a dedicated track car. I use the above mentioned Eibach adjustable sway bar kit.
Sorry that I cannot shed any helpful information on your question.
