just a quick one - does anyone know what thickness the roof skin is for a metal sheet sunroof replacement?

i tried using 1.6mm but this was too thick to flex with the roof line (am riveting a sheet over rather than have a plate welded in)
thinking a 1mm as the roof is pretty flimsy without the sunroof cage in place!?

aesthetic and non load bearing areas of bodywork tend to be around 0.8mm as a guideline
