Hello
My new car has a Sparco sprint 5 at the moment which I find a little snug!

Anyone ever installed a Sparco EVO 3 (xl) in an E30? Any issues?
Any other suggestions on racing seats for larger people that are available are also welcome.
Cheers

Recaro do "wider" versions of some of their seats.

Cobra's 'GT' versions are 40mm wider than their regular versions.
Seat Options:
Suzuka S - If you want a standard style race seat with deep sides but no head restraint
Evolution S - Similar to Suzuka but with large 'hoops' around the head and shoulders
Sebring Pro - Similar to Suzuka but suits taller drivers with ears rather than hoops to clear shoulders.

have you been on track yet? I thought my seat is tight, but as soon you are driving on track it just fits ok.

I have exactly the same seat and only marginally less aerodynamic dimensions and it fits fine. Only problem I have is that the shoulder strap holes are a bit low.

If you are looking for extra height in the shoulder hole area, then I would steer you towards the Cobra range (also available from DT) - their seats have the holes a bit higher than the Italians (Sparco/Momo); they can also do a seat for you from the factory with the holes cut 20mm higher if necessary.

Im about to fit a couple of Cobra Imola GT seats, they are wider than normal and even though i dont need the extra room its nice to have it for long trips to germany
