as been looking into a drift barge (e34) and a lot are autos with a slipper how do auto's do drifting? have a manual car and feel confident with the drifts but never driven an auto car before so just want some opinions please.

i borrowed a jag xjr-s for a bit and you just had to make sure it was in first before booting it, once going it was piss easy, did have a good v12 poshing me along though!

make sure u are in whatever gear u intend to be drifting in before flicking the tail out. if u leave it in D or any other gear higher than what u will be using then as soon as u get sideways and stomp on the skinny pedal it will swap up a cog and make the car swap ends.
have messed about in a few RWD autos in the wet and what seems to work best is to select your gear, enter the corner just a little slower than the actual limit of grip on the car/tyres then give it a good flick out and back in and stomp on the skinny pedal.
