Hi
I am looking at getting a reasonable steering wheel for racing. I read of a replica OMP one on here a while ago but can't find the post.
Any suggestions.
Thanks

I think I'm gonna go for this one when I get that far on - http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_in ... s_id=13924
It's quite a lot cheaper than the momo/sparco/omp equivalents.

I have seen a stanard wheel, or something there abouts, wrapped in the tape they wrap tennis ratchet handles with. I will probably do this to my Alpina steering wheel.
It will have all the feel and looks of a proper racing wheel (apart from not being swade), at a fraction of the cost.

I looked at that wheel as well and liked the look of it, I use Rally Design all the time. Good company.
Let me know how you get on if you do buy it!
Kindest regards,
Pete

I got mine from Peter Lloyd Rallying in Wales. It's an OMP replica (although I'm certain they must be made in the same factory) and was just £90, the boss was £35 and was free delivery as over £100, bargain.

MOMO Hub kit for BMW E30s is part number 2006
Recommend Sparco steering wheel #383; 330mm round, suede, anatomic cutouts.
Demon Tweeks has always been good value to me.
