Got the date sorted now and we have got a Friday!
Friday, 11th December 2009
This really will be the last Club trackday of the year... I know I said that at Oulton but we have been offered a price deal at Cadwell Park that is just too good to miss.
The weather may not be so bad in December either - looking back over the last two years Cadwell have hardly lost any days to the elements in the run up to Christmas.. the nasty days have usually been in November and January.
If its a bit foggy and the start gets delayed Cadwell will cancel the dinner break and let us run through to dusk. There will be bags of tarmac time at this one.
Should they really need to cancel because of snow or ice we will get full credit towards our next trackday, so our money is secure.
Even though the price is 'bargain basement' at £69 for the full day on the full circuit we will still provide you with our normal high standard of trackday that you have come to expect. There will still be a splendid crystal trophy for the 'Driver of the Day' and our famous raffle.

Why is that stopping you from booking. I have booked plenty of trackdays with out a car to do it in (both have been Nicks trackdays I might add), I got as close as 10 days before one of them before I found a car for it.MarkT wrote:I wish I had a car to do it in lol!

buy a banger for a couple of hundred quid and use it until you break it. if you crash on the day it wont matter so much as long as you have enough cash in your pocket for a taxi home.

I was at cadwell a couple of years back when they'd had snow overnight. The MSV staff did a great job of clearing the track and it was open by about half 10.essfourteen wrote: Should they really need to cancel because of snow or ice we will get full credit towards our next trackday, so our money is secure.

getting a few hits now - don't miss out.
You won't get a better deal than this - I'm pretty sure this has got to be the lowest priced, properly run, open pit lane trackday on a full racing circuit anywhere this year - you can thank those biker boys for cancelling and letting us in.
Worried about the weather? - just cast your minds back a few years when we got in at Bedford on a cancellation just before Christmas - It was glorious! one of the best trackdays ever.
I'm closing the book at 50 entries as well.
Go on, it's Christmas - treat yourself!

It's worth the drive - I can promise you that!!
I normally go up the night before. There's some nice B&Bs around there. Very reasonably priced too.

Lads,
A couple of us went to this and throughly enjoyed it - a foggy trip over moor tops from Redcar proved to be well worth it, also got a try in M3 and a cossy engined rwd fiesta rally car with an unbeliveably shotrt diff which were a different kettle of fish to my E30 318is! Thanks to Nick Wright and the BMW car club for invite through the zone.
