I am in the opposite position to many - i have a non road legal track car that i want to insure for fire and theft only whilst it is in storage. i am storing it at a local caravan storage place - secure and local and onlyԚ£200 per year. i have simply ru out of space at home. i cant find anyone who will insure it unless it is stored at my home address (adrian flux have always been really good with my kit car and offer a "laid up" policy mainly to cover kits that are being built - but on this occasion they say it must be a brick garage on my own property !!! - the secure storage in a farmers barn is not good they say) any ideas ??

Try Egger Lawson also known as competition car insurance - they seem to do that.

well not very impressed with competition car insurance - i sent them an email via the on-line form on their website and even phoned for a quote but had to leave a voicemail as the guy who deals with it was out of the office. that was 2 days ago and still no response - dont they want my money !!!
