Has anyone had any experience in removing the damper fitted at the forward end of the propshaft ( surrounding the Guibo)?
I am trying to save weight wherever I can and this is quite a hefty rotating item.
If I remove it will I get some bad vibes ?
Prop shaft damper.

You'd want to get the prop shaft proffesionally balanced after.

Fit a new prop to 'box guibo and omit the damper, it'll be fine.
