original motorsport design/stickers

I am creating track day car out of a 2 door 325i (1989). It is black, and I would like to make it look like a racer from the 1980's with graphics/stickers/sponsors stickers. Anyone got any ideas, or pictures I can look at as a guide. Even if they are for M3's racing in the 1980's that I can copy.

If it's black, I would go for green graphics as used on some M3 touring cars in the 80's or even Castrol stripes - usually seen on white motors, but could look good over black. There's also the red on black option e.g the Texaco livery seen on Sierra Cossies etc....
