Hi guys, my first post here.

I have a 1989 325i 2 door, will post pics when oput of garage. It is fully stripped and being fitted with:

1. Z3 1.9 steering rack
2. 3.91 LSD
3. Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs (drop 40mm)
4. Pro race wheels with 205/50 888's
5. new race steering wheel.
6. OMP race seat.
7. Standard disks but DS2500 pads.
8. Braided barke lines. With Dot 5.

What I want to know is how important are front and rear strut braces and would you guys recomend changeing the bushes to powerflex?

Will be out at Bedford autodrome on 20/2, if anyone is there come and say hello (black car)

cheers

Roll cage, fire extinguisher, adjustable top mounts, polybushes, front strut brace, solid steering guibo would all be worthwhile mods.

My mate is selling a fully polybushed rear end and poly diff bush if you're interested, infact he's selling a steering linkage with aluminium guibo too.

you will find the Eibach springs (drop 40mm) totally useless on track mate. its actualy moe of a 25-30mm drop aswel...

the billys are good but the eibachs on track are just to soft.

a set of arbs make alot of difference to
318is.

lol iv changed to Spax 60mm springs and the difference compared to the Eibachs is.... well i can carry much more corner speed, resulting in less body roll, less understeer, more feedback. and they are much stiffer.

they are brilliant for road use and track day fun

Do you reckon thats because they are lower or are they just stiffer?, Whats the cost of spax springs and are you using B8's shocks or what?
