Darren (ringweekends ) and I have worked our way through the costs with the view to organising a trip and can offer the following.
Party bus crossing on Thursday 21st May from Dover. Pick up from a location close to Dover which is mutually convenient may be possible by prior negotiation.
Thursday AM ferry crossing
Party bus from France to the ring, a couple of wee stops will be included for those weak bladdered among you. DJ Darren and Jazzy G will be spinning some toons on the way and the odd beer or two may be available.
Thursday PM arrive at our accommodation in Nurburg. Accommodation is simple and unfortunately there will be some sharing of rooms. Darren and I reserve the right to refuse to sleep in the same room as Simon or Jim.
Thursday evening an included meal in Adenau at the world famous Comfy Corner. Bus transfer back to Nurburg - one trip each way only, not 13.
Friday at our leisure watching the racing and the entertainment in and around the ring. The bus will be available where possible to move us around and about.
In addition we will be taking a once in a lifetime helicopter ride around the circuit, the timing for this is yet to be confirmed and I will provide more details shortly.
Friday night will be spent enjoying an inclusive meal at the Burgstube with Martin and the crew.
Saturday it’s 24hr time. Using the bus where possible and practical we will endeavour to move around the circuit and watch the race. Whether it be from the GP circuit or somewhere on the Nordschleife we all know we will be in for a treat. From 3pm Saturday until 3pm Sunday you will have more than enough time to get drunk, have a hangover and get drunk again.
Sunday after the race finish’s it’s time for us to be on our way back to the UK and our drop off point in Dover or somewhere close by. Hopefully DJ Darren will turn the volume down slightly so those of you with a headache can suffer in peace.
The question is how much will this all cost?
The answer is we can do this for a price of £469 per person. No doubt the seasoned pro’s of TF weekends will be clambering for their calculators, but before you do so remember this is the 24hr race. Prices in the area rise accordingly (think 3 times the price and you're close) and at this stage it is doubtful if not impossible to secure accommodation. Plus you are getting a once in a lifetime helicopter trip and a place on the party bus with DJ Darren and jazzy G
To secure your place on this trip a non refundable deposit of £100 is required, with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to departure. Places will be taken on a first come first served basis.
Included items in summary

Ӣ Full entry ticket for races Friday / Saturday / Sunday

Notes.
1. As and when more info is available regarding a more detailed itinerary and details this thread will be updated.
2. The price has been calculated using an exchange rate of 1.21 euros to the £. Dramatic fluctuations in this exchange rate could result in a further charge closer to departure. Should the exchange rate change dramatically for the good we would of course look to lower the final figure. While a rise in price is not desirable we sale very close to the wire on this and must keep an eye on such things.
3. Same comment as above with regard to fuel costs.
4. We need to sell all 13 places for the trip to take place.
5. A 3.5% charge will be applied for all credit card bookings.
We currently have 5 places remaining and I thought I would give you guys the chance to consider it.
