BMW only track day - Brands Tuesday 25th November £139

My brother and I are taking the racecar to a trackday at Brands on Tuesday 25th November. It is a bmw car magazine day, bmw's only... more info here.

£139 for all day. The mag will be there handing out free mags and the trackday will be featured in a future magazine too.

sounds good but a bit short notice, may go there to watch but unless i can magic £139 i will, but then i would need the money for pads discs and tyres as im low as it is!! so mines proberly not track ready!

craig testing will gain you more lap speed than engines etc!!!so get out there as much as you can , you learn more on a track day than you will on a raceday! good luck with the baby !

I`m going with the track car to give it a run before winter and hopefully it will be a dry day for a change, but will still bring the wets just in case.

Car no 69 come and say hello.

Hope to also see some of the usual lads there as well.

Lovely looking car you've got, just wondering how much lower it sits now?

God knows exactly how much lower it is than standard. The car is on full Gaz coilovers and the series TOYO's are 195/50R15 which lowers the car a little more too.

not to bad a day in all.Track was very greasy in the morning and was mid afternoon before there seemed to be any real grip through stirlings. Car in one bit so a good day.

did someone have a map of the circuit going? i was trying to find my way round but could'nt see anything cos all i could see was clouds of white smoke from the back of a lairy red M3. Funny i could'nt see the persons head driving though. It must have been a kid!
Then i had to keep avoiding all of the empty gearbox oil containers falling from the back of it!
