Hi Folks,

A little help please as I have getting some conflicting messages from various suppliers... I am planning to fit a pair of Recaro SPG seats to my E30 - question is, do Recaro supply runners for these seats for an E30 - some tell me yes, some say no so if anyone knows for sure, please tell me!!

Many thanks,

You will have to buy the attachements for the seats from Recaro and dismantle your existing runners or fabricate something.

Hi dude,

I have been looking for pretty much the same thing..(Pole Position)...the place that i tried K300 told me that I couldnt use these with runners....basically said the only options I have from the Recaro range are:

Sportline, Topline, Trend, Expert, Specialist, Cross Speed, Style, Speed

Not sure if this is any help to you? Let me know if you manage to sort this out..

cheers

That's strange. Keep asking.

Here's my Pole Position with Recaro sidemounts, double locking runners and custom base frame ~ all done for me by what is essentially Recaro Australia.

PS: sorry about the crappy image

Wow - looks great - they look like standard Recaro runners adapted to suit?

Nice job..........!

Yep. All standard Recaro gear. Couldn't be happier with the installation.

I've used Recaro seats for over ten years now. Love 'em!

Great stuff - Have measured the install on my other car with SPG's and realised that the BMW is VERY close but no cigar... Will be grabbing a load of Recaro standard kit and adapting to suit...

Thank all for your help - will keep you posted on how I get on with mine...

im using a set of sidemoutns bought from 'Uwem3' that allow you to bolt the seat straight to the floor so the seats are nice and solid.

Check this link
Right at the bottom of the page, there a listing for runners and it says "For all vehicles except Porsche".
This is why I no longer drive an E30......
