Good Day guys,

I can get hold of some e36 328i Group N suspension.

What I would like to know is, will the back fit? I'm not sure if it's a coil over or seperate coil and spring setup.

The front is a Sachs/BMW coilover... I know this will fit as I already have E36 M3 front struts in the car.

Never mind all.

I went and had a look at the stuff, and it will fit with the exception of the rear springs... which I will get new ones made up, so it's no biggie.

I'm now the proud owner of e36 Group N Suspension :)

What spring rates are you going for? I am running the SOFTEST Grp N stuff for the E30 M3 and ist undrivable on UK roads.

Haha, I've got springs from 800lbs to 950lbs in the front... still struggling with what to run on the rear.

The car is a race only car, so no road driving.

but yeah, not so sure the roads are any better... haha with all these damn speed humps everywhere.

I'm only fetching the suspension on weekend, so will post up pictures on monday.

I am running 680 at the front and 1100 at the rear(120N / 180N),no coilover rear. A 400lbs front / rear difference seems to be a good starting point.

Thank you for the insight into this.

Another question are you running a rear sway bar?

My rear is also not a coilover.

yes, H&R rear and front. Was toying with removing the rear but as soon as I am at the Ring I can't be bothered. I just want to drive. And it doesn't handle bad, so why repair it when it works??

Lol, true true.

I'm not going to bother with a rear sway I took it out when I stripped down the car.

I need to fab up some sway bar links on my struts 2, as I'm running a DTM style front control arm (get this Nissan Motorsport is making them up for me... I find that kinda funny) , so no place to attach the front bar on the control arm anymore.
