i have a diff from a Alpina C2 2.7 with around 100k on it
would it be wise to overhaul it about now

Just to add i recently had my diiferential rebuilt and changed to motorsport spec, including 40% lock up and tightened plates + a ratio change and new casing.
Kev's prices are very resonable and the service is second to none.
