It is what it is I suppose, I'm poncing around with paint ideas (as my rally mate would politely say) bollox to painting it, spend the dosh on much more useful things to make it lighter and faster :twisted: winkeye

Mate we only got 100 325isports in australia you don't see anything done to them like this everyone just restores them over here

Yea - where is the update - I want to see the updated new and improved white one :D

I've not done anything to mine recently but am ready to get it sorted for the hill climb on 16th, 17th and 18th of April 2009 if anyone is interested.. It's fantastic fun £260.00 for the three days :cool:

did you paint over the sound padding eg. on the floor, or did you some how pull it off then spray??

yeah good plan, strip it out, get bored of ripping up the sound deadening, then paint the sound deadening white...

i lost 7.2kg's from the soundeading, thats were most of the weight is tbh..

Lots of people swear by the heatgun method, (un?)fortunately I removed all mine during the cold spell when it was minus 2 and it was so brittle that it just using a scraper was enough....

Anally, I have also weighed whats come off and I managed nearly 8 Kg's too! Thats a lot of pies and dieting! :?

im a big fan of weight saving, all my cars have been stripped out! you need to be brave tho if you are using it as a daily
