Maybe he has a custom mount for the caliper like the Theo's Hartge's solution

he got back to me. He used E46 M3 calipers, not E36. But they still don't bolt on and a adapter plate is required.

Well, just another job on the to do list.

nope because I haven't got any :D

The E36 M3 calipers came along and I bought them without knowing if they will fit. But I was keen on the M-Logo winkeye
