Obviously welded in so can't spray then fit. Unless maybe spray the bulk of the cage out of the car leaving a few inches on the bottom, weld in then just mask surrounding areas and spray the feet.
The only other thing I can think of is to fit the cage and then mask the whole of the interior. Don't want to completely strip the interior though.
Thoughts?
How would you spray a rollcage

Spray cage first, far easier. If you buy a bolt in cage you don't have this issue.
If you spray in situ you will miss alot of bits, you may not be able to see these parts(top of bars etc) but it just seems a bit of a bodge.

If you have a rollcage, you don't have any interior that needs masking off!
I painted mine out of the car, then fitted it and then painted it again to get any bits that had been marked during fitting and welding.

I have an OMP 6 point bolt in cage from deamon twonks for £400, sprayed it white with hammerite smoote in a can, 4 coats with 3 or 4 cans at £7.50 a can, looks really good, cage being fitted sooooon I hope, £Â£Ã‚£ has been short so I'm paying a professional rally car builder £200 to fit it as he knows what he's doing and that's cash well spent IMHO
