Just a quick post to say that I am very impressed with my new WMS brakes. 8) 8) 8) 8)

I went for the set with the grooved discs and EBC Yellows as the car is only used on track.

We covered about 280 miles on track on Sunday, we did 20 minute sessions with a 5 10 minute break and an hour for lunch.

No fade what so ever and more importantly no warping.

So first impressions are very good and will keep posting the more track time I do.

Cheers

good to know!

i'm using the plain disks with EBC reds on the road with my M30 3.5 tourer and like you, can't cook the fronts at all. they've also got no signs of warpage after a fair few road miles and delibrately abusing them to see if anything could be broken. :D

you may find if you push it too hard, the rears will overheat first unless you've got uprated rear pads, though looking at your spec i suppose this is already covered.

This was Gaydon day!

It was a toss-up to go to Cadwell or Gaydon. Gaydon won.

Cadwell is only 10 miles from Dad's house... you can hear it on a good day!

Glad you enjoyed yourself... will be on there in September.

Running DS 2500 on the rear at the moment, with standard discs.

I had originally planned to go to Gaydon, TBH, but Cadwell looked like the better option.. winkeye winkeye winkeye winkeye

sounds good to me! is the rear setup much of an improvement over OE stuff with regards fade resistance? (my new weakest link)

Well I have done another 500 + track miles (including another Cadwell  ) and all is still well. And have had several comments from passengers saying, â┚¬Ã…”ahow good the brakes areâ┚¬Ã‚a especially when coming into Hall Bends and coming across a rather large piece of bodywork that has deposited on the trackâ┚¬Ã‚¦

Havenâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢t had the wheels off to see how much of the pads are left yet, but the rears now look like they are on there last legs (1000+ miles)

You do more miles on track than I do on the road! No fair!

WMS is always glad to assist in dodging bits of cars.....
