Dear all,

Just bringing your attention to a trackday at Blyton park on Friday 13th March. Won't find it in the various TD calenders as it's a privately organised day.

They are organised by a local chap by the name of Frank Hall. The day is £100 per car and additional passengers/drivers go free. All proceeds go to charity - and currently there arn't enough people attending to break even so I'm here trying to drum up numbers!

If you've not been to Blyton, it's a great place to learn the limits of your car without much risk as there's not much to hit! Although it's a proper tarmac track, it's been laid on top of an old airfield so there is a nice combination of plenty of run-off, but with proper kerbs and track to learn, rather than just cones laid out on concrete.

Practical Performance Car magazine will supposedly be turning up on the day too.

If you're interested get in touch with Frank here:

Unfortunately I can't make it but I will vouch for Blyton being excellent fun and actually pretty challenging to get right.. Sounds like it's all for a good cause as well!! :thumb:
