The OE rev counter & speedo have stopped working so I want to replace them with aftermarket items. In fact, I won't bother with a speedo so will just have a central 5'' rev counter and oil pressure & water temp' gauges either side.

Just wondered if anyone else has done this? If so, are there any problems to avoid or is it all straightforward?

Has anyone got a ready converted binnacle they want to sell? (you never know! :) )

Have you though about one of these?

I have thought about using one on the e30 before transferring it to the Caterfield...

I thought about it and actually have a Stack digital to go into my e21, but just want to keep an analogue tacho in the e30 as I already have one sat here.

I do wonder about the Acewell's quality though. Anyone got one fitted?

See Mickey_Boy's gauge install here. May be of some help to you. Level of difficulty will depend upon your level of skill. Knowledge of automotive wiring is recommended.

This is my own binacle here which is similar to what you have proposed for your own car.

Thanks for that.

I think I'll get an old binnacle to break down as a starting point. Looks great with the Stack gauges and they're pretty much what I have here.
