Made my own fron 6mm polycarbonate sheet, was going to make them out of aluminium but decided against in favour of low weight. These have now been used on a few very rough road rallys with no problems.

Good idea Adam, where did you source the sheet and how did you fix to the underside? Presumably lots of self tappers and large washers?

The sheet was bought from oadby plastics in leicester, cost about 40quid for a 1 x 2 meter sheeti think. I cut it to size with a jigsaw and fixed it through the rear floor pans with m8 nuts and bolts, made some brakets to fix from the rear beam.

go and steal/borrow a big blue farm barrel, m10's and cable ties to attach it, job done. worked fine on the goggledd which was rough as hell.
