Because if you are the sole driver you can make fitting the seat as safe as it is going to be. Basically you would weld in strong metal tube between the inner cills and the transmission tunnel, obviously with big plates on both areas. You then bolt you seat directly to those two rails and thus you can't move it. Safest solution, but possibly impractical if you are not the sole driver.
Because our track car is not soley used by me, we have bolted the runners to the rails that we have installed. £10 of mild steel should see you make the plates up if you can do the fabrication work(which I think you can?) I think the runners are fairly universal, eBay is your best bet, but check the bolt patterns.

they are the base oens, as the holes etc are at the bottom, they are gt ones, was thinking of doing that, but would like to move them back and forth as well as its not jsut going to be for track etc, for road use as well, and as its got the back seats might need them sometimes, also need to put 2 seats in.

I have some E30 base mount runners for Corbeau seats. Only been used for 6 months if you're interested..SHAKEELE30 wrote:Bought a set of these the other day, but they dont come with any sort of runners etc, does anyone know where i can get some from or can i use the standard e30 ones somehow.

hey warren, thanks again for today, i couldnt resist, but to try to see if they actually fitted, so tried to put the one that was apart together, and put it the car around 9ish, all is well. Now for the driver side tomorow, will get pics up in the photo gallery soon as both are in....
