Looking to replace the existing battery that weighs as much as a small planet with something lighter and more lithe.

Looking at an Odyssey or Red Top any recommendations?
Which model have others used.

We have an odessey one, weighs an incredible 10kg LESS than the standard battery!!!

Always cranks over first time - even if the car has been left for 2 weeks... it's perfect!

Was gonna suggest a golf buggy one Lee as one of the race/track cars Ive been looking at lately uses one but these specialist lightweight ones are likely better.

Anyone shed any light on using a golf buggy battery? good idea or just plain daft?

What's the downside of these then?
They're light, powerful, yet no more expensive than a Halfrauds special.
Shorter lifespan?

Of questionable value though if you can reduce its weight by that much. The additional cabling is relatively heavy!

ive read on here to strap a 30kg weight inline with the rear axel, so any weight going back would be good weight imo.
