I'm looking to improve the gearchange in my 25 so an SSK is the way to go.

I know the Z3 shifter is a popular upgrade on E36's, but does the same apply to the E30 or are there any other OEM items that can be used?

I don't mind aftermarket stuff, I'm just gauging opinion. What do you guys use?

I got one of fleebay from lithuanea. It was a coppy of a b&m one. Works a treet naw. Required bending of gear salector shaft though I baleav this is common to clear a damper on the drive shaft. ( I yoused my prosision lump hammer) and I had to redrill the hole in the bottom for the pin. I baleav this is cos I bought cheep, butt all in all a grate mod.
Yer i am sorry for my bad spelling. i am dislexic and find it just as hard to read your posts as you do mine.

UUC parts are highly recommended.

Their DSSR is a particularly good upgrade; you may need to change your selector rod joint to use one though; not a great drama (just change for a 1990-1991 model)
