Have decided to move the fuel tank into the boot of my rally car.

Are there any specific E30 tanks available? I.e. does someone sell aluminum tanks to fit the E30?

Was considering either placing it into the spare wheel well, just like the M3 race cars, or moving it just forward of the spare wheel well.

There's an E30 M3 fuel cell on Ebay at the moment.
It is out of date though
I don't have the link for it but the listing was posted within the past 48hrs.

ALIMAX have a photo with a Mk2 Escort tank fitted in the boot, over the back axle, Ithink this is preferable to the spare wheel well as putting it in there puts more weight beyond the rear wheels. The kit seems pretty reasonable. I have weny down a different route with my rally car.
I have fitted a MK1 3 litre capri tank into the boot (just like they used to use in MK2 escorts rally cars). This is very cheap, very easy, puts the weight on top of the rear axle and still allows you to use the spare wheel well
