I'm using spax shocks on my IS and no complaints so far, I was going to get some for my touring aswell.

2007 PBMW championship was won on Spax psx shocks, I think Liams car was the test bed for the prototype coilovers, if you u2u him on Seloc he'll give you the lowdown.

i used the spax adjustable kit on my touring and went through 3 pairs of rear top mounts in under a year. even the softest setting was to harsh for road use imo.the springs are fine when used with bilsteins.

thats strange.I did change the springs also for h+r ones on mine but found the damping good.I have mine set fairly soft,i also fitted a pair of m3 cab top bushes at the same time so had no problems with the strut tops. When they are set stiff they really are too much but on a lower setting like 4-6 clicks i find them great.fuzzy wrote:i used the spax adjustable kit on my touring and went through 3 pairs of rear top mounts in under a year. even the softest setting was to harsh for road use imo.the springs are fine when used with bilsteins.
Maybe they are specced stronger damping for the touring ?
