it rubs against a rubber seal.

48X65X10 these are the seals dimensions.
So 48mm outside

One step left is to machine down the spacer to the correct size - about 18mm

Spacer machine down to size, about 17.90mm with in 0.1mm of the original.
Image
Cam belt pulley test fit, this a very tight fit so it will need the the tool to get it back off again.
Image
As the M52 crank nose it a bit longer than the M20 the washer in the front doesn't sit flush.
Image
Washer in the lathe, need to take about 1.25mm off giving 0.1mm space between it and the crank nose.

Finished off and the edge smoothed off

Test fit of all parts on the M52 crank.

Comparison: M52B28 crank and the front and M20B25 at the back
I´m not sure on the length of it. , maybe that 17.9mm dimension
I don´t have the crank with me to measure right now.
Maybe somebody can post that info up?
And I´m not sure how big the crank actually is.

And what's the dims for the woodruff key? Is that just a slot all the way through the bore? How wide and how deep into the ring?

the crank nose is slightly longer on the m52 crank against the m20 crank,
so instead of moving the timing belt wheel by making the spacer larger he adjusted the front washer.
I´ll sort that myself.

It´s a slot, do you have a m20 crank lying around? it´s going to be the same dimensions as the m20 timing belt wheel, if you don´t I can bring one round for you.

OK will do Junior.

For all - m30 conversion mounts are being fabbed up this weekend to see how things go. Got a pair that eradicate the "rubber" being made for a friend's 3.5 drift cabriolet, and some more made up to allow for the standard rubber. I'll get some pictures up when they are complete :)

Treehouse bush copy work will begin tomorrow, we have already ironed out any theoretical issues and hope to start manufacturing them later next week.

Due to the interest in the gear selectors there'll be some work going into them soon, and we already have dimensions for the engine and gearbox mounts so they will be getting made up this week hopefully :D

Engine and gearbox mounts will be made this week, those who've mentioned interest, ie...

If you do want some then ready some cash. We will get some pictures up first but just letting you know we should have the first batch ready this week for sending.

First pair of aluminium engine mounts just been made. They are really light actually, and have a really nice surface finish on them despite the flash making them look a little choppy. Come with brand new high tensile allen head bolts, washers, and nuts. Simply undo the top and bottom nuts on your rubber mounts, jack up your engine mount arm one side first, remove the rubber, slide in aluminium, slide in bolt, repeat to other side, enjoy.

Jason - yes. Paypal will be sorted shortly.

Should have some gearbox and more engine mounts being made up this week.

Thnks for the link of muzzimotorsport. Their stuff is expensive but some of it is posher than our stuff due to better machining capabilities. Ours is simpler and "does the job" rather than trying to be branded as "group a" or whatever.

I'll get paypal sorted tonight.

First pair of gearbox mounts just been made. We've also sourced some coated bolts so they won't rust. They aren't shitty weak stainless fasteners these are 12.8 high tensile items. The bolts above won't be supplied, they will be pretty and silver.

Pictures of the engine/box mount kit tomorrow.
