Needed something that I won't slide off, for the ring, and had an old pair of corb's with mini (classic) sliding subframes on in my garage, so had a crack at fiting them. Thought it'd be worth posting on here as it was easy, and mini buckets seats are dirt cheap on fleabay. Three piece harness bolted into original seat hole. and I extended forward with a 1/4 inch ally bracket with a bolt through.

front bolt hole needed to be brought forward and act as mini's crossmember, so 3x3 inch ally was £15 from ebay.

Had to cut notches out to clear rear heater channels. next time would probably go for 5mm ally box for piece of mind.

Rear part of harness bolts in where rear seat belt holder is removed.

Only did it as a stop gap measure, but quite like the look of them.

Also fitted evole chip for m42 engine. Already got +4mm throttle body but haven't really noticed much difference. Probably cos I've got standard bore exhaust, albeit with middle silencer removed. However once the chip was fitted it instantly felt very different, with vastly improved throttle response, so very happy.

sprayed and fitted my is valance too

...obviously very much a go faster part that!

Just my 2p's I would be very worried about the choice of material on the brackets

I fitted some buckets (mamba they are originally destined for a classic mini but never used - ebay bargain!) in mine using box section from B&Q, think its about 20mm square and proper steel so nice and strong!

will get some pics if and when the rain ever stops!
It is meaningless to ask; which is real, 'real' or imaginary? It is simply a matter of which is the more useful description

"One valuable thing to remember is that light tavels faster than sound, some people appear quite bright until they speak

Yeah I can get hold of some 3.5mm steel box, that'll do the trick.
