i have a Tech 1 and the brakes are rubbish... my brother's mk3 polo has a better pedal. ive bled loads of fluid through the system but nothing..
this is my second tech 1 and they both are the same are they just like that?

also what is good caliper & disc upgrade that cost under £350 and fits in the original 15's

cheers

Braided hoses will help a soft pedal.

I think if you fit braided hoses you should also consider to fit a new Master cylinder and caliper rebuild kits
Our cars are quite old now and all brake related parts will suffer over the years.

Bigger M/C, braided hoses and possibly copper lines (mine were shagged!) Ebc turbo grooved discs and yellow pads and a good fluid. Stops like a mudda fugga! And forget all the shite about ebc yellow being no good. Work perfectly with right discs.

Worth overhauling the calipers too.

Ebc discs seem to work well. Others may do as well but I've only used the ebc turbo grooved ones.

Goodridge do a hose kit. Reds will Be ok for road/track. Yellow for track/race.
