Need an oil sump I thinks its an m43, numbers are 17152689

As I said in your other thread it is an M40 or M42 sump. M43 is E36 and will NOT fit an E30.
Casting numbers are not always the part number. I linked to the correct part number in that other thread.
If it is only the bottom section you need then Febi ones are about £50 new on ebay.

Can't you get your old one welded up?

But my block is m43, wasn't sure if it's OK to weld

Ah I see so my block is m43 but has had different oil sump fitted so that the engine fits, sorry I didn't understand
