types fitted.

Hi Jon, thanks for confirming.

I have checked the part and it has BMW 1386706 and Behr 90.944.04.009 stamped on it, so I am happy this is the right version for my car. It has started to leak.

The solenoid on the valve will look different when you receive it but it will fit.

Hi Jon, thank you for that.

I have seen pictures of two different looking units, one like mine with a grey top and the other a black top with what looks a brass nut on the top. If it is the latter, is there anything that needs doing with that nut? I read something online that referred to it being loose and needing tightening after installation/orientation?

My assumption initially was this was a simple unbolt and bolt back in part.

Hi Jon, I can see there was actually an instruction within the box. I can now see the top part of the new part can be orientated to fit and once in place it says to do up finger tight.
